Rek'Sai login= Soundgasm

Loooooove the new login. I feel that this is one of the scores that you Rioteers have made that really hits the mark on the persona of the character. Just from hearing it, out of context, you can pretty much tell who it is. With other themes that contained lyrics (looking at you Jinx), you can easily tell who its about, but that's from the context within which the lyrics are placed, and the words themselves, and doesn't have too much to do with the score. Any insights to how this was made? ~~And on top of that, what about Rek'Sai's "quotes" themselves?~~ (Edit: Saw this replied to in another post) I know the Q&A is over, but the login just sparked my curiosity. Thx for such an awesome game... Especially with the ingenuity you guys bring, come each new champion

YES! +1 This has to be one of my all time favorite login pieces. You completely nailed it when you said that hearing it out of context you can tell exactly who this song was made for. There are very distinct "reksai burrowed" and "reksai unburrowed" sections and the music does a great job conveying her kit and combat patterns as well. (She's burrowed, stalking, hunting - oh - now she senses someone and starts moving a little faster, stalking, stalking, and then BURST out of the ground and slaughter.)

Myself I like the impression of movement in the music. I really like songs that feel like they're going somewhere. This does that in spades, prowling all OVER the damn place! Personal favorite is the 'burrowed' pulsing, with distressed and menacing strings running along the top!

Really? Wow, I do like the piece - I think it's actually really good... but I don't feel it convey's the champ at all - other than the slightly claustrophobic feel. I felt like this was a Quake splash soundbyte. I was expecting something more desert isolationist vibe - which would have meshed well with the storyboards we got. faint ringing of bells, wind, earth pounding sounds... dunno.
