So Joshua Burner, a.k.a., the Fiery Joker has created a countdown on the top ten League Champions that deserve their own game. According to the count down, he bases it on each champion's lore. Before we get into topic, watch the video below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGCictw_TgM

You guys done? Okay, now listen up.

Which champion do you think needs their own spin offs? Before answering, here are the steps:

  1. Pick a champion (Obviously)
  2. Pick a genre
  3. Make your game based on their lore
  4. Make the gameplay based on their abilities and character theme

You guys willing to play? Let's hear it! Which champion do you think deserves their own spin off special?

Allow me to demonstrate:

  1. For my Champion, it will be Corki
  2. Obviously it would be Ace Piloting genres like Ace Combat
  3. The story line in this game would be all about Corki's Dog Fighting days in the Screaming Yipsnakes Squadron before the League of Legends came about. How we would see him go behind the enemy front lines to deliver messages or take on targets.
  4. Ace Combat: Horizon has this feature called the Dog Fight mode where while tailing an enemy fighter, you zoom in and try to continue tailing that fighter as you attempt to destroy it. You can watch AngryJoe's old review of the game. Corki is a Dogfighter so a game with this type of feature, he would be able to use his Missile Barrage and Gatling gun or use Phosphorus Bombs and Valkyrie to destroy ground targets.

Garen It could be a game where you spin a wheel and you can either spin to win or if it lands on something bad you lose all the things you earned it could a game show

so basically garen is the new host of wheel of fortune

I have to say, Yasuo could definitely have a game. I mean read his lore! Banished for a crime he didn't commit? Had to kill his own brother?! This dude has a perfect backstory that could lead to a kind of quest of sorts, traveling across valoran in hunt of the true criminal, as he tries to redeem his name. Yasuo Would be one of my first picks for any champion to have a game. Other than Lucian. His game would be number one. lelz

Assimilation: The Story of Velkoz | 3rd person exploration/adventure

Vel'Koz has made first impact in Runeterra. He disintegrates the first being he sees, a human soldier. Through this he gains knowledge of several of the city-states and his journey of discovery begins. Vel'Koz must try to absorb as many different creatures as possible. Over the course of the game, he encounters the other Voidborn, his 'friends'. He can choose to disintegrate them, thereby absorbing their knowledge, or go on quests with them in exchange for their information. Eventually he absorbs someone who knows of a time-traveler in a place once known as Urtisan. Vel'Koz figures that such a person must know more knowledge than anything else in Runeterra and sets out to find him. Along the way he encounters Viktor, who promises to help him find Urtisan. Viktor betrays Vel'Koz, capturing and replicating him for the Battlecast program. Vel'Koz has to fight both Viktor and his Battlecast self. Vel'Koz disintegrates Viktor, and finds out that he did in fact know the whereabouts of Urtisan. Vel'Koz journeys to Urtisan wastelands, not knowing he would face his greatest conflict, the impossibility of disintegration of an immortal being. At the conclusion of their climactic battle, and Vel'Koz's realization that he can never have what he sought, Zilean realizes that Vel'Koz's thirst for his knowledge makes him a potentially useful tool in the search for a cure to his disease. So he asks him a question: "Tell me, what do you know of Arclight?" Then the credits roll.

The game would be third person except when using the disintegration ray, then it switches to first-person while the ability is active. It's a semi-open world, reminiscent of FFIV: A Realm Reborn but not nearly as big. Vel'Koz can absorb any living creature in the game, like the Venom gameplay in Spider-man Unlimited for the original Xbox/PS2. Due to his extraterrestrial orgin, Vel'Koz is often attacked/ambushed by enemies. Disintegrating sentient enemies can sometimes result in reveals of secret information regarding the location of unique creatures and people to absorb (even other champions). Vel'Koz can stalk his prey or rush it head-on. While disintegrating, he cannot move and remains vulnerable to attack. He has a limited amount of self-recharging mana (which grows over time as his archive of integrations expands). All of his abilities use mana, and his disintegration ray drains mana continuously for as long as it is held active (short for small/weak creatures, long for strong/boss creatures). Vel'Koz must avoid sunlight, sticking to the shadows as much as possible during the day and being highly active at night.

Singed: Running Simulator. All jokes aside, I feel a chemistry lab sandbox game would fit Singed, although it wouldn't be following his abilities, it would definitely be tied deeply into his lore. Here are some features I think would be in this game.

  • Of course, forming different variants of potions, elixirs, poisons, with a vast amount of items from all around Runeterra. A few ways to acquire these ingredients would be from purchasing them from markets, sending your 'understudies' to gather them, or, for those harder to obtain ingredients, there is a certain "Procurer" local to Zaun, and it just so happens he's good friends with Singed. Warwick
  • After creating said concoctions, you need test subjects. You could see if anyone is open to willing tests, or yet again, we have our local procurer.
  • With all of that, there would also be situations that occur, like say, a potion goes wrong, killing a test subject, you try to cover it up, but word still gets out, lowering your reputation, causing strife within your lab. Some negative outcomes would be the government of Zaun detesting these acts, this is of course extremely rare, due to the leniency of said government, but with enough civilians demanding action, something is bound to happen. Ultimately, the Failure state of this game would be Singed' lab being shut down, or completely destroyed(Either because in-lab accidents, or outside strife).

Maybe whenever you have Warwick 'procure' subjects and various items, you could play as Warwick, like a little mini game. It could be a stealthy hunting segment each time, with various scenarios.

  1. Either Zed or Shen, maybe even both.
  2. For Zed, Assassin's Creed-esque Action-Adventure. For Shen it would be very similar but team based with Akali and Kennen as teammates.
  3. To be honest there is a bit of mystery as to how the whole Zed betraying Shen and his father/teacher actually went down and a game focused on the two of them, Zed building the Order of Shadow and Shen trying to find him while upholding Balance would be a perfect place to explore that relationship. Why did Zed kill their master? Was it for more power? Did their master make the first strike in response to Zed's learning of the Shadow Arts and Zed in self defense ended his life? Either way you have the set up for Zed to either be a tragic villain who was rejected by everyone he once cared for and was attacked by a man he considered to be his father or as a Villain who values power above all else and believes taboos are archaic myths that have no meaning in the pursuit of strength. Shen, on the other hand, has just lost his father to someone he thought of as his brother and made the head of the remnants of the Kinkou Order. The biggest problem I see with this side of the story is that Shen being "emotionless" would make for a very uninteresting main character BUT I would counter this by pointing out that lore was written before Zed came out. The Eye of Twilight slipping in judgement and needing to fix his internal issues so he could better lead his people would make for a much more interesting character.
  4. From Zed's point of view he could be assassinating ninja targets in Ionia while recruiting more recruits for The Order. Taken to the extreme you could make the game about (or include a bonus mode) Zed completely taking over Ionia. Parkour Assassin's Creed style with Shadow Clone shenanigans seems like it could be pretty fun to me. Shen's game could have very similar mechanics as he's trying to rebuild The Kinkou with Akali and Kennen was party members. There could also be a bit of a political angle with the Elders of Ionia and trying to get their favor for support or...well, favors. You could also have missions involving Noxian spies.

Vi . An adventure game in an environment like Assassin's Creed but Piltover. You need to stop criminals and have little boss battles with Jinx Kinda like Lego Batman 2.
