Remember how like like 5 or 6 patches ago they went through and changes item combine costs cuz they wanted "cleaner numbers" then they go to this..

I remember when the combine cost used to be 3g; I would always buy the last component and forget to just wait for the 3 gold and would run back to lane with phage+sheen+zeal. lol i'm good at this game.

First thing I thought when they changed the price to 3733 (333) was "OMG, why even bother with the price drop! All this is going to do is make people with OCD go nuts!". Then I thought about if for a minute and saw what they did there :p
