IsmokeOregano3 voteshow is that being a dick? that's the smartest thing you can do in ARAM. the execution gives the enemy team no shut down gold and doesn't end your kill streak. You can go back to buy items and heal for no cost to your team minus a short death timer... but i guess that's called being a dick
roflcopterssssss1 votesbecause getting stomped and not even getting gold from the enemy once they reach low health because they suicide into the tower isn't fun, at least 3-4 years ago people weren't dicks and the majority of ARAM players didn't do it and saw it as dickery

I glanced at your profile and noticed you made a comment about DOTA, in which gold denial is a very important game element, how is this any different? If you are being chased in an enemy jungle in SR and can't escape to your side do you try to get executed to deny gold or just let the enemy kill you because that's less "dickish?"
A majority of ARAM players still don't do it, but the better ones do. The same is true for 3-4 years ago, i would know; I've been around for a while too, kid.
roflcopterssssss2 voteswhy would superior strategies matter in a game mode made for fun? you see the reason the majority of the ARAM players didn't do it is because they see ARAM as what it is, a FUN game mode, there is no pressure to win unlike sr games in which the goal is to win, not to have fun, comparing those 2 makes no sense kid
IsmokeOregano1 votesNo, the goal is always to have fun. Every game mode (including ranked) is still a game, and ultimately designed to be an enjoyable experience for everyone. Winning is arguably more fun, so i understand the desire to do well, but that should never come at the cost of having fun.

The day i play Free online video games with the intention of only trying to win and not to enjoy my time, is the day i stop playing games. You don't make money for winning, you don't lose money for losing, so chill out and try to enjoy yourself.
Also since it's fun to win, maybe you should try a winning strategy and deny the enemy some gold when you can ;)
roflcopterssssss1 votespossibly that is not always true, in ranked winning goes above fun factor, at the very least that is what I've seen from the friends that play ranked.
I can have fun whether I win or lose depending on how the match went, if it's a close match or if it was simply a champion I enjoy playing it doesn't matter if I win or lose I had fun.
I don't see a need for strategies unless I'm playing for the win in for example ranked.
