I read online that the reason why is because asshole Target employees are buying them and selling them on ebay. This one jerk sold over 25 bottles for around $100-$150 when they're only $2.99

They need to supply more so I may demand more... I understand supplying less and demanding more money, but Jones' soda is always 2.99, so they didn't even increase the price to ramp up demand.

I don't think Jones had ANY idea what they were dealing with. I don't think they knew how insanely popular the stuff would be and how much they could charge for it. I feel like the executives who organized the thing had no idea how huge this launch would be and how crazy people would go over the stuff. I'm sure they'll be sending out more batches. it'd be TERRIBLE business not to after seeing how popular it was.

I want to say true, but its very rare any company of whatever background and financial standings, ever allow itself to create a product based off a video game for consumption. I don't even like Fallout that much, but part of me really wants to drink something that you can't get anywhere due to popular trends. Peer-pressure I guess. But they should have known that following a game with millions of fans, that only selling 30 bottles at a retailers, and maybe 2x 12packs wouldn't bode well. People are easily manipulated into buying sugar water with branding they're familiar with.

Big businesses know this, Jones is big business. so Maybe I have more faith in them than I have faith in the greed of man.

I just like how people downvoted me for spending money on a franchise I kinda dig, and am willing to give them something for their efforts, and getting trolled at in-store... Are these down-voters even reading the comments? Or are they just butt-hurt I have Morellonomicon as my Avatar?
