Power of Syndra made a forum post like this a few months ago, and I think sometimes we need a reminder that we're all people here in this community. There can be so much toxicity sometimes that I think players forget that they are playing with other people.

As a reminder that we're all people, I propose we tell each other a little bit about ourselves and maybe find others with common interests that we could connect with and play with in-game.

*What are your 3 favourite champions? In order! Hecarim, Elise, Poppy (I'm a jungler, but if I get put top lane, Poppy is so much fun and has a lot of potential)

What is your favourite skin? I mean Arcade Hecarim is absolutely amazing, but I also really like SGU

When did you start playing LoL? I started playing about February of 2012, so preseason/early season 2

Why did you start playing LoL? I got injured and due to that cut from my Cross Country team, and some of my friends recommended it to fill the time that I used to spend at practice

What country/state/province/territory are you from? Massachusetts

What is your favourite food? Chicken Scampi is probably one of my favorites. Actually most chicken based pasta dishes are awesome

What is your favourite colour? Probably blue

What is your biggest pet peeve? Misuse of common phrases. Et Cetera is pronounced "ET Set ura" not "ECK set ura". Also, if you ever say "I could care less", that means you care, which is not the intended use of that phrase. The correct saying is "I couldn't care less"

What are 3 of your hobbies? Distance running, pickup sports (basketball/frisbee), gaming

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? Somewhere tropical. If it has nice beaches I'll be fine!

If you were given $1 000 000, what would you do? Act as though I got a $50,000 for 20 years. Idk haha

When did you start playing LoL?

The same week Volibear was released, December 2011 if I remember correctly.

Why did you start playing LoL?

Hoenstly, a friend of mine (IGN Vanhour) kept harrasing me about the game. One day I really burned myself out on WoW and decided a new game would be a good thing. Funnily enough I hated the game at first because it was my very first MOBA, I did a bit of research, got a few tips, and when I came back I fell in love with the whole deal.

What country/state/province/territory are you from?

NA, Virginia. I'm surrounded by old people and terrible drivers, QQ! lol

What is your favourite food?

Garlic with a little pasta on top.

What is your favorite color?

Green

What is your biggest pet peeve?

When people don't respect each other. I'm fine with arguments and fights, but when someone is rude to someone else without knowing their full story about anything at all it's disrespectful, unnecessary, impractical and generally just makes the rude one look like an idiot.

What are 3 of your hobbies?

This changes monthly, I dabble in a lot of different things. Right now it's: prop making, 3D Modeling and Blacksmithing

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Another tough one, going to say Australia but give a shout out to Ireland as I've been there before. Beautiful place, great people.

If you were given $1 000 000, what would you do?

Build several dozen small monuments in remote locations all across the U.S. with inspiring quotes and stories and an engraved QR code to create an awesome scavenger hunt that will last for decades while preserving a bit of history at the same time.

I saw someone post a video of themselves playing AP Soraka. I recognized League from seeing it before, but this time I thought "I want to play THAT". Finding out there was Co-Op Vs AI made me actually download it (I'd had enough PvP experience in DotA for that to be a biiiiig plus)

Do you have passion for other genres of games outside of league?

Why yes I do! I LOVE Procedural Death Labyrinths and Roguelikes. It took me a very long time to realize it though. I played a couple as a kid and really liked them, but didn't realize until just recently that they were a whole genre! Now I am drowning in wonderful things because slapping the word "Roguelike" onto your indie game is a big fad right now, and some are very gooooood~

I'd say I have an UNDYING PASSION FOR ALL GAMES but that's not true, there's a couple genres out there I just can't get into.

Since I saw people doing this earlier, I figured I might as well, despite being REALLY LATE TO THE PARTY (please don't hurt me).

What are your 3 favourite champions? Lucian, Jinx, Jayce (in order) -- I'm an AD Carry, but the odd time I don't get my role, I'll play something like Jayce for the mechanics challenge :)

What is your favourite skin? Battlecast Urgot. Who doesn't like death crabgots?

When did you start playing LoL? The earliest account I remember creating was 2010, but I lost my credentials to an earlier account I had during open beta.

Why did you start playing LoL? I came from the DotA scene; friends recommended it to me as a "MOBA alternative" -- and I sure as heck wasn't paying for any competitor games if I could just play this for free!

What country/state/province/territory are you from? Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I was born in a different city in Ontario, but that's where I'm from!

What is your favourite food? Shrimp Tempura. I'm a heavyset guy because I choose to love food. I don't particularly like a lot of fried foods, but Shrimp Tempura is just there because it combines flavour and seafood, two of my favourite things. I'd put Green Tea ice cream up there too.

What is your favourite colour? This is going to sound weird, but pink. I'm a Math student at Waterloo, and our "faculty" colour is pink. I've pretty much associated with it entirely since I started university.

What is your biggest pet peeve? People who continually misuse or misspell English words or phrases, ESPECIALLY ON THE INTERNET. I especially dislike the misuse of "they're", "their", "there", and words with double consonants that people often forget to put.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? I'm a huge city person, so I really want to see the metros of the world - Germany, France, Australia -- you name it, I'm usually game!zzz

I think I randomly thought of League and remembered my very very first time playing back in 2012 and how much I hated the game. My best friend kept begging me to start playing! I was so scared to play because it looked so difficult. I actually started with Dominion to make the experience less intimidating! Vayne was my first champ on Dominion :D

What are your 3 favourite champions? Hmm... probably Anivia (my first favorite, but sadly less usable these days), Nidalee (Yay for the return of kitty power! I've always loved mauling people with her), Vi (The attitude.)

What is your favourite skin? Battle Bunny Riven. Look closely at the splash, and tell me it's not her "why the hell am I wearing this I'LL KILL YOU!".

When did you start playing LoL? Oh boy. I couldn't give a date offhand. It was sometime in the middle of the ninja trio. After Akali I think. Somewhere in there.

Why did you start playing LoL? Because I was bored and looking for any free game to waste a few hours on before uninstalling.

What is your favourite food? Sushi. There's a great place at the MoA. 3rd floor, south side (there are a ton of restaurants there, plus one of the two food courts. Also, the place is trying to take back the title of biggest mall in NA with some expansions).

What are your 3 favourite champions?

Thresh, Maokai and Braum - I'm a Support through-and-through, I fail miserably in other roles. Thresh was the first champion I ever bought, and I never looked back once I did.

What is your favourite skin?

Championship Thresh. I spent weeks waiting for its release, desperately hoping it would come out before I started work and wouldn't have time to play. I never play thresh without it now.

When did you start playing LoL?

About a year ago, or just short of a year ago. I'd come from an MMO background but was looking for something a bit less intense while I had uni work etc to do.

Why did you start playing LoL?

Was asked by a friend to check it out, and figured I'd give it a go. I spent years refusing to play WoW then got totally addicted, so I figured this time when I was asked to try a new multiplayer I'd be more open.

What country/state/province/territory are you from?

Great Britain. Hums national anthem, sips tea

What is your favourite food? Pizza. I don't think I've ever gotten bored of pizza. I eat a lot of pizza. Mmmm... Pizza....

Blue!

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Right now? Inept management who are yet to show why anyone thought they'd be successful in that role. But that's just the biggest right now.

Gaming, Watching TV, Film etc, and going to zoos to see all the animals.

Nowhere, I'm happy where I am. If I could choose to live anywhere, probably somewhere with faster internet.

Pay off debts, invest wisely, try and find a way to make sure I don't have to work anymore through investment/interest gains. Maybe buy a house so that I have the security. Then I can do what I want, work if I want, chill if I want, whatever.

Sure! Whether I'll actually play with them is another matter. I leave myself logged in a lot when I'm not here.
