How are they turning into Jagex? I don't see how they're turning a game that you could invest hundreds of thousands of hours into into a pay to play game and I really don't see how th- OH I FUCKING MISS RUNESCAPE item 3070

Oh god EoC I remember, but it wasn't worse than Solomons, SoF (Or whatever it's called now), Loyalty system. If the Jagex founder didn't sell his company this wouldn't have happened :(

Honestly Solomons wasp retty cool. SoF was bs and I just closed the windows because it kept spamming. But the EOC was just the nail on the coffin of a game that was thriving,

I quit around the time I finally got Access to Dragons Equipment.

I couldn't stand all the time and effort of the game going into Solomons, all the P2W shit in SoF, the lifelessness of the world due to bots.

If only they had listened...

yeah. Literally tens of thousands of people told them EOC would be god awful, and it is. They almost never ever listen to their player base. The day I logged in, the game was just completely unrecognizable. The interface was stacked with things and I had no idea on how to navigate through it quickly.
