Darius or Vayne

As a f2p player who barely manages to sustain 30% win rate in low bronse tiers I have always thought of switching to a bit more peaceful lane such as top . I was thinking of either playing Darius or Vayne , but since I have only managed to save up for either one of them I am rather unsure of which one to pick .

So who is doing better as a top laner in general ?

My own mindset was; Darius - easier to play and is a melee champ , while Vayne - can be played both top and/or bottom and is more safer but harder to play .

I greatly apreciate all the replies and am hoping to come out of this with a satisfying pick !

Trust me, Darius right now is one of the worst top laners in the game, the only reason people hate him so much is because he's a lane bully and call him "OP", but really he's not. He falls off late game in most cases and everyone is playing ranged top laners nowadays and he has a very high ban rate for years now so you won't even be able to play him that often, especially in low elo like yourself he has the highest ban rate. Darius is only good pick vs tanks, and literally noone plays them in soloQ.

Go for Vayne, easy to play, harder to master, shitload of damage.

Top is not peaceful, except you enjoy permasit and your jungler doing nothing with it and every other lane losing without you having impact.

If you want a peaceful top lane go Lulu and just polymorph when they try to engage, you should win every trade
