I've done both at the same time... some really confusing caitlyn play allowed me to kill a Chogath and then take dragon. I certainly thanked him for helping me secure such an important objective. also what's the gif from? asking so that I can bingewatch the entirety of the show and then feel bad about doing so later.

if all of the enemy team is dead they dont get exp, gold, or objectives so one could argue that going for kills will extend your lead. Although pushing objectives will close out the game faster but is more dangerous if youre behind or going even.
