Pick Veigar and dont feed. Lucian is super hard to kill as ahri. Heavy tank teams, Fizz can kill her before she gets all of her damage and if she uses her ult to dodge his ult she can be ganked. Vayne is scary for ahri. Orianna shield is strong and keeps her alive ahri cant kill her unless she does something stupid. TwistedFate can follow her ganks easy. If you out range her just stand behind minions so charm doesnt hit you. buy potions so she cant bring you into killing range. Ward so she cant sneak up on you. Dont pick Velkoz (seriously don't) and try to remember that killing her doesnt mean you won the game. Killing the nexus is what you need to focus.

There's more but I'm tired and really don't care anymore.

They REALLY didn't nerf her.

All they did was make Ahri have to land her shit to do what she does, rather than abusing her auto target spells. Auto target spells do less but the skillshot charm bonus ratio makes up all lost damage. Pretty much, this change makes 0 difference besides in bronze where Ahri's are less reliant on their skillshots, I say that because anybody who can land charm on Ahri won't be affected by these changes.

Having to rely on charm for damage gives people going against ahri more ways to defend themselves. It has a longer cooldown than foxfire and cost alot of mana.

That would be the theory

but those number changes are very small so its not like that in practice. Like I said, anybody who lands charm will be unaffected (because chances are, you won't ult or W without landing that charm and commiting, unless you ult to get the charm in, making the overall combo equally the same potential)
