How I imagine the Rioter that deletes my thread for being in the wrong section
(in this case it could be justified since it wasn't really a meme, but still)

Idk what you posted, but I've seen people intentionally try to mislead people with their title or content, then get upset when a mod is mislead. Not that this is what happened to you, but it's pretty funny.
I once made a ~10 paragraphs post, and they deleted it for (being in the wrong section)

But it was in the right section (story/art)...

I've gotten banned from the boards for posting the navy seals copypasta - except ending it with "you silly willy ;^)". I'm pretty sure they don't even review something when it's reported. I'd post the photo here, but I don't wanna get banned again.
