Hey everyone,

So I'm sure you're all aware that League has a bit of a learning curve, and looking back at our early experiences in the game, I'm sure we can all find something to laugh at ourselves at. Basically, if you've ever had this feeling:

Here's ~~one~~ two of mine: When I first started playing , I didn't know that Tibbers actually did damage on cast, so I would summon Tibbers whenever he was off cooldown at any random spot on the map and basically have a super minion that followed me around. (I also didn't realize Annie had a passive).

That time I tried to kill the second turret without realizing I can't hit it while the first one is still up Ah, the memories.

Any item that had movement speed on it, I would build. No matter if I was playing Annie or Darius, I would have like 550 movement speed with mobi boots + alacrity, triforce, zeal, statikk shiv, phantom dancer, and lich bane just so no one could escape my wrath. I also just hated being so slow.

I only played Nocturne until level 26, and for a while, I just used my ultimate to deny vision because I didn't know I had to press R a second time in order to leap to somebody.

I played Udyr. And I kept pushing until the enemy team killed me. Rinse, repeat. I went like 0/30 back then

Trying to smite enemy champions.

Being told to build ad, and wondering what "ad" was.

Wondering how the heck one teleported to a ward, when all you could click on were towers on the minimap.

Thinking that you gained gold by being near a creeps death, instead of killing it.

Wondering how that pantheon didnt take tower damage when he dove me.

Asking friends what would be a good champion for me to learn, when asked what i liked in a champ, I replied " not dying"

This isn't one of mine but I find it funny. In my friend's first game on league he felt like he died too easily, so he built tank. ( item 3143 item 3065 item 3111 item 3075 item 3102 item 3157 ) Doesn't sound too bad, right? Except that he was Ashe. Ashe -_-

I remember not knowing what a jungler was and not helping with leasing the first time I saw someone jungle. Me: "What's a leash?" "Why does he need help?" "Why isn't he in a lane?" Also, I didn't pay attention to roles and always went Soraka mid xD Play her as support? Pssh, no thanks. ~~(though I only support now...)~~

I tried to smite a Champion when I was level 1 and was very frustrated when it wouldn't let me.

Also I would lose every time Cho'gath Bot was on Twisted Treeline.

I use to play teemo ad top and then played him ap thinking I found this hidden gem. At the time, new players played ad teemo. So, I thought I had started the AP teemo trend because more and more people started to play AP teemo as I got higher in summoner level. haha

When i first started playing i mained darius. i would "fake out" my opponent by aa a couple of minions, slowly getting closer and straight go ham. all the time. no matter what. jungler, mid, and top visible in my lane? go ham. pull q die... how the hell did that happen???

I tried using abilities on turrets... I got Miracle on every champion... I tried saving levels to see if that let me get abilities faster... I got Seraph's Embrace AND Athene's on pretty much EVERY champion... I mained Soraka, maxed Q, and dove at multiple enemies and tried to duel (also did it for the waveclear)...

played Teemo and didn't understand the point of farming or leveling up. So i would sit in a bush a go invisible, and when someone walked into it, i would try to kill them. The only problem is i was like lvl 5 in game, and they would be like lvl 10. And i built tank as him.

I played AP Riven because I thought that ability power enhanced her abilities. I didn't understand the concept of magic and physical damage. I also only played Riven because I didn't know that I could play with quick cast, and having to target abilities took too long.

I remember when I got flash i thought you could flash arround the whole map. I though getting 3 Bloodthirsters and 3 Warmogs was the perfect build.

I was that boring guy who always looked up guides for champs when I was new (still do it when learning a new champ). I didn't know the difference between AD and AP at first though - I thought AP increased every ability's damage and AD only for autos (I built AD always though because that's what guides told me and I was playing like Draven and Yasuo). Then I played Taric and saw more colours.

I used to play Annie at lvl 10 or so very often and my item build focus was the Kindlegem and the Ionian Boots of Lucidity, I didn't know what AP or AD was and i built Statikk Shiv on Fiddlesticks whenever i had the chance to play him.

I remember back when i first started and i played Kayle i used to like only using my mouse to play games so i used to click on my abilities to use them. Lets just say i was kinda bad

I first joined League when Kha'zix was just added so I decided to play him for my first game. The following game, I played Corki. I was really confused because Corki wasn't able to evolve his abilities and so I thought my game was bugged. Oh, those were the days.

I used to play Lux a lot. I built pure tank but I was tired of attacking slow so then I bought Runaan's first then Warmogs and other shit like that

My first time playing League ever, I played Ashe cause I thought she looked cool. My friend desperately tried to explain what an "ability" was and how to use them. I was beyond confused. I left clicked my enemies and wondered what that green bar above my head was. Honestly I was that clueless for almost a week of playing and I hated the game for it!

Because I loved Janna's kit early on and noticed her insane peel capabilities through maining her, I didn't learn the importance of warding forever. I also rushed Archangel's because I always ran out of mana damaging each wave with my maxed first Q.
