What's the best FE ROM hack you know about? (my definition of best only includes games that stay true to the theme of Fire Emblem, so no rocket launchers)

Most definitely the one featured in the photo. Fire Emblem: Requiem. It suddenly popped up on Serenes Forest sometime over the summer, 100% completed. No WIP thread or anything. It's a hack of FE7, has a fully fledged support system, features 2 lords that are magic users (one dark, one anima), and has legit 5000000 thunder mages. Because screw you AND your Jeigan dracoknights.

I honestly had more fun playing it than I did Sacred Stones or FE6 on my first playthrough. Haven't played FE7 yet, I plan on it soon.

Anyway, go ahead and play through the first chapters of Requiem and tell me what you think. WARNING: It's hard as Bors. (FE6 ARMORKNIGHT JOKE YEAAAA) The first few chapters are... maybe earlygame FE6HM difficulty. But with competent lords. :>

PS: Don't confuse this with "Requiem of War", an entirely separate and I believe unfinished hack. Just "Requiem".

Conveniently enough I have a Serenesforest account. I'll let you know when I've played a bit, although it might be harder than what I'm used to.
