I think of it as an adventure. Sometimes I don't even read the abilities and just test them out. Thankfully I don't do that outside of bots.

Had a team that decided everyone should play a void champ. Pre-season patch. Bought Kha'Zix and played him for the first time. (They were aware of this.) "Kha is easy."
Gromp leashed. Died to blue buff. Came back - killed it - died to wolves. Came back - killed wolves - died to enemy jungler.
"Easy" is not the word I would use.
And before anyone asks, I used the recommended starting items:

Oh, I'm mediocre at this game at best. And if there's one thing I'm terrible at, it's picking up a new champion on the fly. Every so often I'll give it a go, and it's always a major disaster.
Except that one time, with Zyra. I carried hard as Zyra, and had only played her the once.
