Plants perform both aerobic and anaerobic respiration, so the answer is both, although I would suspect that her aerobic respiration has increased significantly since her taking on a human form.

Personally I'd say due to her past as more of a plant, she would be able to breathe CO2, rather than oxygen, just like a plant.
She is still in a human body however so she would probably need Oxygen. I'd wager that a lack of oxygen won’t kill her or knock her out, and she can still breathe the air like any other human, but she still requires CO2 to survive.
