You might find little support on these boards, but I agree with you.
I believe recent nerfs, turret plating and new bounties put the game back on a good track.
We're literally coming from 3 years of trash balance decisions one after the other. The game has steadily gone downhill starting the juggernaut patch.
Finally I am starting to see again positive changes, and not just failures.
Either I am trippin or it's memes and games. Wait it's memes and games.
Unpopular Opinion: A ton of Boards members dislike League and should really stop playing it and go to another game instead of complaining for about an hour or more a day on the Boards. Some games just aren't for some people.
It is definetly noticable how they try to bring balance back into the game. However it's still bothering how they hesitate with nerfs on champs that dominated for a while now, namely Lucian, Yasuo and even Irelia and Akali have been up there way too long. Finally getting some deserved nerfs though. Also still some questionable decisions here and there with Vayne and Nasus buffs.. Ah and Prestige Points.. oof

They're making SOME progress, I'll agree, but they still have a long way to go.
This is not an unpopular opinion. Of course these patches made the game more fun again - they toned down damage a bit.
However, I think overall damage is still too high and the game could actually become what it used to be, if it would be reduced further.

If we exclude the new refund policy, all the actual "good" changes were actually just past errors that they are fixing after X months. I mean, those aren't bad changes, but calling them good simply because they aren't as atrocious as the past ones just makes me wonder if we actually forgot what good changes actually are and how they look like.
It's a wrong opinion. They're still buffing more than they're nerfing and it'll be back to season 7 when the only viable roles are mid and bot lane
Unpopular opinion: I unironically enjoy the game no matter what season/patch if I play with my squad
The refund thing is meh, but this ranked season has hands down been the worst start to a season I have ever experienced. I believe its the lane ranking, but Im not sure.
few problems: crit spikes too early, dafuq is a bruiser, tanks are off assassins still, mobility creep, and bounties. I won't mention mages because i do have a bias to them
honestly akali was nerfed to hard, sure she was overpowered and yes she needed a nerf but not that hard :/ not even an akali player just thought it was unfair and unjust
