But, conclusion: Poppy's fine just the way she is and she doesn't need that "special someone" to complete her. At least not now. Maybe after she finds out who the hero really is, she would do well with a man.

This was more of an argument between me and Insanity Song, but I guess anyone can pitch in on the boards.

I completely agree, having a companion of any type helps keep her from becoming weary and sullen like Ryze and Yorick who also have been pursuing a righteous goal for many years. However, who that companion would be is the question. Janna probably doesn't know who Poppy is outside of the alternative universe where they share a same skin theme and even if she did, they'd likely have far too different characters and goals to be friends. Teemo, despite being repeatedly called "Satan", actually isn't all that bad of a guy. He may, as Tristana, put it, run a fine line between chipper compatriot and unrepentant killer, but he's certainly a good pal to share a mead with. Except... It specifically said in Poppy's lore, she feels alienated by the chaotic whimsy of other yordles. She just doesn't get yordles and most humans.

So are we just going to say that, over the years, she'll grow tired of trying to find the hero of Demacia? No, not at all. In fact, there's a good friend of hers who, despite being neither yordle nor human, she gets along with better than you'd think. Galio (hear me out) is Poppy's best friend. Within them lies kindred spirits, Poppy even says that she and Gallo have a lot in common! Granted, I bet a million people are just going to say, "Well that's stupid, Galio's made of rock and Poppy couldn't possibly be friends with a gargoyle because she must remain the cute and cuddly teddy bear we all falsely think she is." But Galio, despite having only a spare few voice lines (I'm hyped for the Galio rework, I can't wait to see what they do to my favorite midlaner) has quite a character as well. Sure, on the outside, it's just an unlikely duo of a yordle warrior and a living gargoyle, but beneath, they're very similar.

If Poppy wants a friend, Galio's got her back.
