well anime decided in it's infinite wisdom to make him a girl with big tits. This also makes her a lesbian because of her backstory.

and the opening shows all their non human forms and she is infact a black kinda feathery serpent thingy. the anime is great fun though.

my friends who are into fire emblem told me that in the japanese version of fire emblem fates corrin's name is kamui and his/her child is then named kanna.

Just in case someone may wonder considering the nature of this thread (it's basically an anime thread), there is also an anime called "Jormungand".

It's about guns, weapon trades and modern/political warfare set in a more or less parallel modern setting though. "Jormungand" refers to a particular fictional system in that title (plot centric so I won't spoil).

But I'll put up a disclaimer, I think this is probably off-topic even in this thread lol.

Well the myth is a common knowledge (Jormungand was a world serpent or a ouroboros who grew so large it could surround the earth and bit its own tail, and when it released the tail, Ragnarok would began) at this point, other titles just expand or give it some new spin from the original myth.
