You think chasing kills will win the game? Wrong! those are actually more likely to hurt your ability to win the game, particularly since there's a high chance of failure! You think slaughtering the endless minions will win the game? Sure, they're rich for minions. You're just stealing their hazard pay that they were given up-front right after you kill them. But no matter how many you kill, more will spawn.
Just destroy that f***ing nexus! That means you kill towers to expose it and then beat it down until it explodes.
Do not chase the Teemo/Nidalee/Talon/Fizz that has 5% HP. They want you to chase them so that you lose sight of the simple trick. Do not go kill the neutral monsters, the ones minding their own business until you strike them. They're just trying to chill and you're going off beating them up INSTEAD OF DESTROYING THE DAMNED NEXUS!
