Potatos and spaghetti don't go well together, it's a metaphor
When you're a programmer, you get a little satisfaction out of writing code that almost no one will ever see. It's like a nice easter egg if/when someone does stumble across it.
On Pbe LCU client it was called that originally. But yeah, I'd play on a http://www.potato.es/wp-content/uploads/potato-slider.png
In their news they named it TosterMode
On a more serious note, is there actually any performance gain from switching to the low spec mode? Tried both and it made no difference.
Where's this code from?
so..if I power a pc with a potato league will run?
My PC is made of potatoes and broken dreams. This mode is perfect for me.
I wonder if they have a toaster mode.
Yet the 'potatomode' still feels like it's running Far Cry 4, Battle Field 1 and Forza 3 in the background.
they need one of these for the new client i feel like i could play three games of LOL at the same time with better Fps than the new client by itself.
LOL
I don't think this should exist in the first place once we're out of Beta because i shouldn't have to remove parts of the client expierence just because my computer can't handle it and it's not optimized well enough. Hopefully it won't be there afterwards.
