This is how reporting ACTUALLY works (and how you get punished)

So we've all seen loads of false information about reports and how people get "4 reports from toxic premades", and how they get punished for a single game. I've decided to just hopefully clear up some of this stuff.

  1. The number of reports you get in a game does not matter. Any amount of reports flags the game as "reported", whether it be 1 report or 9.

  2. You do not get punishments based on number of reports. Once the game has been flagged, the system checks if you have actually done what you were reported for.

  3. During this check, it is not as simple as "has this person used "bad" language". It is a complex machine learning algorithm (this means it's always updating by using the information we, as players, type in the chat. It is a living system that catches abusive use of language, not vulgar language by itself.

  4. To get even the minimal punishment, you need to have a history of bad behavior. One game where you call people a feeder won't get you punished by itself. Of course, if you said something REALLY bad, you'll get escalated punishments.

Hope this helped clear up some of the confusion behind reporting and punishments :)

I love it when ONE person tries to sick the whole match on 1 other person "We will all report you, Thats 9 reports. Enjoy ur perma-ban"

So, because THEY decided you were a feeder because of ONE bad game (and of course no one can tell the difference between having a bad game, Maybe actually getting -focused- by the enemy team, etc.... and INTENTIONAL feeding). They decide you are a feeder so think so highly of themselves that it will be THEIR report that gets you banned. They put them so highly that when THEY report you, the complex system will take a break to personally permaban you Just for THEM, cuz they are sooo special :D

No. Just no. This is not how reporting works at all.

Single prepubescent pansy: What happens is one prepubescent pansy decides that he is going to try to act hard behind the computer. He talks shit to everyone on the team every single game. Then when he crosses someone who isn't going to put up with his shit, and tells this prepubescent pansy where he can stick it-- then the person who tells him off gets banned and prepubescent pansy continues on his merry way.

Group prepubescent pansies: What happens here is the entire group decides they are going to shit talk one person because they are all jobless, fat, neckbeards who all want to try to outdo the other person in their voice call by pushing one person to their limit. When the person goes off on them, all said prepubescent pansies jump on him until the end of the game then start asking for reports in all-chat. The game sees 3 people reported someone versus the 1 person who reports the 3-- so the 1 person gets banned.

There is countless evidence of this, and it really doesn't matter how much the arbiters, you, or any other Riot fanboy wants to try to regurgitate their horseshit, this is how it happens every single time. This is why people like you almost NEVER get the feedback that someone has been punished. Groups see it all the time.
