This scene made me cry when i was a kid. idk it just looked soo sad xD.

I remember watching this movie so long ago. animated movies just haven't been the same as back then. Back then they could have dark bits in them like Littlefoot losing his mother in vicious combat with a Trex, and still be a wonderful kids movie at the same time. Today animated movies try to hide the death in them and simply imply that someone has died without actually showing it.

Makes me miss those old movies.

If they do it right though, they're basically making your life easier if you pay attention to what they're hitting.
