But in the end no one cares if the support dies....
Man, for a moment I thought you wrote "Allied in Smite"...
For those of you who don't play Smite or are aware of its pro play scene, Allied was a pro player who streamed constantly, probably the pro player who had the most contact with the community.
On April 2016, he was diagnosed with cancer. Hi-Rez (Smite's developers) started a campaign to help him. They created icons, skins, and chests to help his fight with cancer. I don't know the exact number, but it was over $100k. I'd never seen a developer and a community work so hard together for one single person.
On March 2017, Allied posted on Reddit that he was free of cancer. Everyone cheered, of course.
However, that would not last forever; Allied's cancer striked again and he passed away on May 2nd of this year.
Off-topic, but that story touched me since I followed it from the beginning.
Idk.. when I play support i grab my ball sack and yell BALLS! as we charge in and kill some bitches. Only peps that need protection is their feeding ass. [slayer-jinx-wink]
