I'm flattered that you think Jayce takes skill. Reality is though, people just have no idea because they probably never see him. (Ive asked many people and they don't even know what he does.)

He kinda has skill barriers, but the first one is easy to overcome, just master QE, and that it, then its just common sense and knowing how to play an immobile champion. The last step, which I have yet to master is animation cancels and making his gameplay smooth and providing the most DPS you can(very important to not mess up your DPS)

I played with a Nida jungle recently. She was the reason we won. Seriously had over half the kills of the team alone.
