Add that he can't cast it within X seconds after being in combat with anything, Throw in the cast can be interrupted if he is damaged in any way, he reveals himself to everyone while channeling it and the channel duration is increased a good sum to make up for it, oh and any damage blocked by shields is reduced by twice the amount (Aka 200 of the damage from the ultm is blocked by 100 part of a shield). The fun'ness of the fact so many other champions need to be revamped even past the initial selection of champions because the kits are 'waaaaaay' to old or even more plain then Annie's kit works especially in its beta variant (abnormally high mana costs and requiring 5 casts instead of the 4 it needs to 'charge' it).

Plus Darius gets a AD scaling ultimate that still deals true damage by default and can go up by 20% bonus damage per hemmorage stack up to double damage, Not like we already have plenty of champions with BS ultms that exist atm, while at the same time having ways to be even more annoying then a global Ultimate.

Least when i still played Dota 2 they didn't really have things like damage scaling on on abilities so it was more glorious at times to rush an item like Refresher Orb for the glorious Double Zeus Ultimate that pretty much kills several champions or leaves them at least half dead and revealed where they are to be rushed at), Still, LoL still has its own charms even if it has frustration in its own way.
