I personally would like the ability to fluently speak, write, and type the primary language of the person I'm talking to. It'd make my communication skills invaluable, and also it would let me find out if that jerk posting kanji in chat after insta-locking is actually asian or not.

I wish I had the ability to perfectly speak, read, write, and understand (as in listen to) any language that has ever existed on this planet. Not only could I find an easy job being a translator, I would never have to watch anything with subtitles ever again!

Personally, I agree, assuming reality altering powers are disallowed. Even then, I might choose this, dependent on the power. "Cure any disease" for example, puts to much pressure on me to save everyone, choose who to save, and makes me question whether I should save anyone.

This, though, this is simple and I have no qualms accepting it if offered.

I would want the ability to make others speak English

Then I would unite the world in one language, this includes animals, plants, insects, exc

Then the true madness would begin, no more nice sounding bird songs! It's now birds cussing each other out in the early morning, no more epic wolf howls, it would just be the words being yelled in English

It would be interesting to have a conversation with a tree... Though I feel it would take an entire day to just say hello

What if...we can already do all that, but we also slow down with time, speed up with time, etc. Like a trailer behind a truck, you can speed up the truck, slow it down, etc. But the trailer will be moving at the same speed relative to the truck. Therefore, we don't feel like we are speeding time up, but we are :o

I'd love to kinda just give a giant middle finger to the passage of time because I just have no ability to keep up with deadlines/perceive time in general so if linear spacetime could maybe Not Be A Thing every so often that'd be nice.

also if I could just always have the exact right thing to give to somebody--not to make them like me, but just What They Need. If I could go through life being able to always help whoever I met, that'd be a life worth living.

Absolute body manipulation.

I'd never have to worry about what I eat, never have to exercise, never get sick, never get crippled, I'd be able to change my looks to suit my needs. I'd also effectively be immortal, since I could just modify aged cells. Plus if I ever got in a fight, I could just give myself thick skin and claws or fangs or quills, and it'd be too easy. So many potential uses / careers you could go into if you could mould your body however you desire.
