I honestly don't understand why Riven gets so much hate. Maybe a lot of the people that play her are assholes, but that doesn't give people the right to condemn the champion and the rest of the players for it. It's prejudice. That's all there is to it.

Maybe, or maybe it's because most people don't know how to fight her and think the Squishy assassin will go down easily. I love Riven, and I love giving tips and tricks, I started League the day Riven was released and she was the first Champion I ever bought <3~

Heh well I shouldn't have said teach I should have just said tips and tricks, there are so many different ways to build Riven that she becomes useful for almost any team comp.

I managed to win as Riven once. I fed the enemy top and jungler, but managed to carry after they both went afk.

That's kind of sad, actually.

Riven is fun to play. I picked her up on a whim... Due to getting my ass handed to me by a Riven player who was in mid. I was playing Veigar and that was my FIRST time EVER facing a Riven . Sucked because I got yelled at for "Feeding the Riven". Kinda hard to adapt to something you have NEVER faced before in a short time span of that match.

Which I have gotten flak for before. Playing as Yasuo against a Talon and this was my first time facing a Talon EVER. Yeah didn't go well. Then the Shyvana on my team asked if this was my first time playing Yasuo. It wasn't but I KNOW I'm not great, so I kept silent because I didn't want more attention then that. Just had no clue what to do against Talon sadly. =/

Well Veigar is a very bad pick against a mid lane Riven, it's hard to lock her down and even harder if she has summoner 1 and rushes item 3139

I have a friend who mains Riven, and what he says about Riven is that in bronze, you suck as Riven for about 4 months, then suddenly everything clicks and you're unbeatable. He has his moments of being an asshole, but at least he's not a flamer, and the kind of asshole who can actually help you improve.
