It's awesome being unranked and having people throw their ranks at eachother in the lobby after you've kicked their butts. I've seen so many salty Golds and Plats raging at eachother when they've lost to me :P

When you get those players who throw their rank in your face and call you bronze, I just respond with "I'm Wood League". I'm actually Silver 5, but ranked means so little to me that I could really care less about being in the rank I should be in.
I never really understood why people think being highly ranked matters at all. If you aren't in like the top 100 players, nobody cares about your rank. Are you headed to the professional level ? No ? Then your shit-talking means nothing to me and you can kindly shut the fuck up about your rank now.

everyone trashes on me bc I'm bronze 1 (was put in silver 3... met with unlucky games) even though I'm like 12/2/10 and they're 0/3/5.... They always have to find something to talk shit about ;(

Ranked means absolutely nothing. While it's true that your average diamond or plat might be better than your average silver or gold, that isn't always the case. I know plenty of people in gold that are overall better than some of my diamond friends, but guess what, the diamond guys put in the time and effort to grind the system. That's literally the only difference. Now I'm not saying this is always the case but never judge someone based on ranked alone. Like me for example, I rarely play ranked because I always play with friends, and my closest RL friends are all pretty much bronze skill level and don't care about ranked so we play normals. Does that mean I'm trash for being unranked? Maybe to some people, but I've been plat and I've been gold in past seasons and I have nothing to prove. I play the game for fun and that means getting on with friends to play some normals here and there, not to grind hundreds or ranked games per season.
