In defense of Riot's recent Solo/Dynamic Queue discussion video, many people have brought up the point that "Roundtable Discussion" doesn't necessarily mean that the table has to be round; often even going to the length of citing the first definition that comes up on Google: "Round table is a form of academic discussion. Participants agree on a specific topic to discuss and debate. Each person is given equal right to participate, as illustrated by the idea of a circular layout referred to in the term round table." (emphasis mine) HOWEVER When I proceeded to Google Image the term "Roundtable Discussion", THESE CAME UP:

DON'T CUT CORNERS, PEOPLE!.......unless it's a table! Then, you cut the corners! "Roundtable" means Round table!

Round table in this sense means "around the table" implying that ideas from all parties involved are heard and considered in the discussion

So like, the opposite of what usually happens
