Let me paint you a mental picture that I'm sure we all have experienced...

You've done it. You are on game 5 in your series to get out of bronze. Your team just killed 3 of the enemies. You just killed the middle inhibitor. You are convinced there is nothing your team can do to screw it up for you now. But you were wrong, your team decides to Baron instead of end. Their other two members of the team are MIA. You reluctantly agree to Baron, knowing if you stayed too long they would ruin you with homeguards.

Baron has about 2000 life left. THE ENEMY IS TPING INTO A WARD YOUR TEAM FORGOT TO CLEAR!!! IT'S THEIR JUNGLER, HE APPEARS JUST IN TIME TO SMITE AND FLASH OUT OF THE PIT.... a sinking feeling is starting to grow in the pit of your stomach...

But your team doesn't think so. They are saying things like "Let them have Baron Buff, we are so far ahead it won't matter." Then you hear another sickening sound... While you guys were busy with Baron, the other team was heading to dragon. The pit in your stomach just deepened..

Your teams confidence is their undoing. They spread out to collect the jungle buffs and split push. AN ALLY HAS BEEN SLAIN... a few moments later... AN ALLY HAS BEEN SLAIN... You see what is happening, they are picking your guys off! You decide you have had enough, it is your time to shine. you order your team to group mid under tower where the enemy team is pushing. You are holding them off... YOUR TOWER HAS BEEN DESTROYED... You do a quick count. There are only four of their champions in the mid lane! THEIR JAX IS SPLITPUSHING!!! One of your allies has respawned. They run to the top lane to stop jax... but its too late in the game. Jax tears him apart. The other ally respawned and erroneously thinks they can take on a late game Jax... Your other teammates go to Jax in what seems oddly like the single file lunch lines you grew up standing in. Too little too late. With the Baron Buff Minions, they push into your base and ultimately destroy your nexus. You were so close. But in the end, fate decides you need to stay in bronze for a bit longer.

You might ask, why the story? Well... in all honesty it started with a GIF I found. I wanted to use it so bad but I was having a hard time finding a funny thing to say with it. So I made up this story to mimick the feeling of being so close and being rejected.

TL;DR TFW you're really close to winning a game but your team screws up and throws...
