There are just weird people on these boards who find it funny to downvote every new thread created. Just hit the 'new section'. At times you see a whole list of 0 or -1 threads in a row.

Don't worry, people hate to be told the truth or anything that can actually be called "real challenging discussion", and they mainly support validation for their assumptions. think of how Donald Trump became so famous for telling people exactly what they wanted to hear. The voice of reason gets scorned while the voice of unreasonableness gets loved in today's world, so if you got downvoted, it's usually a good sign that you're onto something rational and sensible.

Edit: Oops, I recognise now that you might have been talking about, like ... a skin concept or something like that. So, what I wrote doesn't apply to that .. lol.

I'm currently observing a board post I made that currently has -2 upvotes. I created a shitpost and waited for the responses. I am still coming up for a conclusion of why people are taking my post literally and in the memes and games section to boot.

If I figure out why this is occurring, I can figure out why people are saying that the memes and games section is no longer funny.
