Random note, disappointed by Fates, didn't have the same feeling as Awakening...

As for this? I actually LIKE when my mains get nerfs. When a champ gets nerfs, fewer people play them, making them a more unique pick. The more unique the pick, the more pride you can take in maining them. That's my look on it. I was kinda disappointed when my Anivikins had high playrates a while back.

Every time I've tried to settle down on a main before, they've become FotM within two months (excluding Vi, back when I did the jungle thing). Morg's been so beautifully consistent. Not looking forward to the apparent rework. While supposedly it's supposed to be small, it'll still make her stupidly popular for a while.

Oh a good pick, She's been a moderate pick for some time. Not a bad one, not a good one. Kinda like Karma I think if they rework her appearanace, minor skills, perhaps give her a bit of chemistry with Kayle It could be cool.

Yeah. I'm kinda worried her W will turn into %missing health damage? But more than that I'm worried she'll get super-popular. She's not a rare support pick atm, but she's not exactly in fashion either. Updated champs almost always get more popular.

Definitely looking forward to the visual update, though. Not only is everything about her outdated and much of her appearance/voice stuff kinda weird, but there are some skin issues as well. Both of her good skins (Lunar and Bloodthorn) have significantly brighter particles than the default skins, making them something of a liability. That goes double in the river + in low elo. I use Bloodthorn in every unranked game, but I always switch to another in Ranked. >.>

Taric Did his rework make him super popular? How about Yorick ? Karma ? I think you'll be fine. Yeah, she has awesome skins, but they could be SO much better. Sinful Succulence... My bets? Kayle and Morg will get reworks together. Kayle will be a hit. Morg will stick in her usual spot.

I loved fates because of the branching story lines, the story as a whole was interesting but awakening defiantly had more emotion woven into it. I hated the S rank scenes in fates though, awakening had varying sound tracks and unique CGs for everyone making everyone a bit different. That and I missed having bits of va sprinkled in support conversations.

I think Awakening was good in almost every way. Fates is a good game don't get me wrong, but Awakening deserves to be treated as a legend. For a game about decisions, the game didn't provide you with many..... You only made a decision maybe twice in the whole game. Fates had a good soundtrack, Awakening's was better. Fates also had some lackluster characters, aside from the occasional good ones. (Xander, Leo, Ignatius, Kaden, to name a few.)

Word of advice about Fates? All of Xander's Support logs are absolutely amazing. Perhaps his greatest is with Camilla. Oh, And Leo/Elise have an adorable/sad one too. Elise is up there for great ones too. Did you play Birthright, or Conquest? I played Conquest, but a friend fed me info about what Birthrights was like.

Edit- Ugh, I like the Leo/Elise one too much for me NOT to say it... The story behind it is Elise goes to Leo asking questions about the world. She asks him why there is a rainbow in the sky, despite it being raining, along with other things. Leo confidently tells her the answers to all her questions. The part B, She goes to him again, asking a different question. "What was father like before I was born?" Because for unknown reasons, King Garon has been really...violent as of late. So now Leo has to answer the one question he dosnt know himself to her.

I started with birthright and then played conquest into revelations. I agree that there weren't too many choices but you gotta give them a break since they did make three full games with their own unique stories. I actually enjoyed a few of the battle tracks in fates, the only track I disliked was the S rank bgm.

The only thing that bothered me about the characters was that some of their little gimmicks was pretty much all they were. In Setsuna's supports it's pretty much just her falling into traps and her comrades either getting stuck with her or something, it just feels so forced. (She is still my favorite character though) But then again they had to come up with support conversations for two games worth of characters and dialogue between all of them so it's understandable. Though not everyone was like that, there were a lot of enjoyable scenes. I loved Mozu, Elise, Laslow, Kanna, Felecia an eve Niles sometimes.

Fates was great because of the sheer amount of content available, just sad they never released the festival of bonds which featured the best girl.

Yeah, I suppose. But... 3 games means more money. I'd rather a super good 40$ game, over 3 lack-luster 40$ games.

I loved Donnel in Mozu, and she clearly tried to take her spot. It felt kind of....Off. She likely has good ones, but I never bothered. Literaly? I would have been perfectly content with Conquest. It isn't the right decision persay, but it had all the best stuff. Story, characters, maps...

P.S. Shadows of Valentia, yay.

Setsuna best grill. I love how chill she is going into war, day dreaming while killing people and going "oop, it's dead".

All three games were 80$ total if you bought them with the discount, and a solid 40(?) hours of game play each. I just enjoyed the different approach to the story line and going through the same plot in different ways compared to a traditional linear story line.

Looking forward to the new FE too, I remember waiting forever for fates after awakening.

Gonna be honest? I forgot who Setsuna was. Seeing her again, Meh. I don't remember her much... I mistook her for Reina for a second. I married Reina in Revelations, since now my kid has that beautiful Marth-blue hair.

Yep. I loved Awakening. Then I got a simulator to play Shadow dragon, yet to complete it, but I LOVED it, and Marth especially.

So enough on Fates, who was your favorite character in Awakening? And do you have Steam for your compiutor? I'm always looking for mpore people to play LoL with, Along with wanting to chat with this further. I have so few friends who truly accept Awakening for the masterpiece it is.

Setsuna as a unit is pretty meh unless you really feed her levels so she doesn't stand out stat wise. I married her in my birthright run and married Rhajat in revelations. I regret it since her character was more "witchey" rather than dark like Tharja was. In awakening my favorite is Tharja, I actually unintentionally married her cause I didn't know what S rank was but she grew on me. Second favorite would be Nowi just because of her innocent supports.

I have steam but I don't use it too often.

Nowi has the innocent ones, but...Lissa :P Ever get Nowi and Libra? Nowi wants to try and find where Libra's pain is, so they can make it go away. Since Nowi thinks this 'pain' is a physical injury, but it's really the emotional pain of losing her team. My first playthrough, I accidentally married Panne. On my 2nd, I married Nowi. My 3rd and 4th, I married Tiki. Tiki is probably in my top 3 of favorite characters. It's impressive when my #1 hits this spot, for purely 1 Support log. 'Like a god, you decide. This man shall live, this man shall die. War is just scales and numbers.' Being Walhart and the Avatar's. Walhart is so awesome... Next to him, are Tiki, for all her 'growing old' conversations, Lucina's specifically. Along with the Avatar's. Nothing but great ones for him.....Except Nah.

Don't get Nah and the Avatar's. The entire conversation is the Avatar asking Nah to stop eating things off the ground.... sigh Yes. All 4 parts. It ends with 'if I marry you, could I make you actual food?'

I haven't played my main for ages just because he is so incredibly handicapping unless you somehow manage to deny 3 surrender votes and the enemy team from destroying your nexus for 35 minutes.

Azir, to me, somehow degraded to my second pocket pick due to this. Nerfing him at this point wouldn't even matter, he's bad already.
