Exactly, and things were made worse when Dopa called Yasuo op with no actual explanation (basically about 2 weeks later he said that a careful Yasuo with frozen force can win most matches.) Really Yasuo is easily beaten with a large number of champions (most of them being toplane brusiers or juggernauts.)

Mid oh yes where almost all of the popular champs are also bad for Yasuo: Viktor with only half of his q being able to be blocked, Velkoz with only his q being able to be blocked, Ryze who can just e the minion wave twice and the wind wall being able to block q no longer works, Ahri who can just ult around the wind wall, Jayce who hard counters Yasuo through the fact that he has a melee form and his ranged q combo being on half the cd of wind wall, Orianna who has an even matchup, Kogmaw who's ult is not affected by wind wall (and that's his main damage dealer when ap,) Anivia/Gangplank who can just farm and not die, Xerath with only his e being able to be blocked, I could go on but I'm getting somewhat bored. Finally, there's the fact that only fifteen precent of all experienced Yasuo players actually still play him mid, and the rest mostly just get camped and feed.

Velkoz E can be blocked when it's the projectile being sent to the location, pretty sure you can WW Ryze E, Ahri has to get in melee range after she ults around the wall if she wants a good shot and probably already got E or Q blocked if he used it, Jayce is primarily a top laner, lol AP Kog.

The key word is "camped".

You can Wind wall Ryze E if it is used directly on you but the spread, when used twice on a minion, can go around the Wind Wall. Ahri ult is just over a flash length which is far more than melee range and while most people think that Yasuo is a hard counter to her it's easy for her to outplay the Wind Wall as it lasts only 1.5 seconds (as an Ahri main you should know that if you have any real experience with the matchup.) Ap Kogmaw is actually the most common Kogmaw playstyle at the moment (http://champion.gg/champion/KogMaw). The chance of blocking Velkoz E is quite small as the animation and the actual projectile is not in proper sync which means that you actually have to wind wall before the animation gets more than half way through. You seem to be one of those people who know the arguments that people use to hate on Yasuo but you haven't actually done much of the research yourself. I, on the other hand, have tested nearly everything when it comes to Yasuo and beating him comes much more down to patience and abusing his windwall cd then having your jg camp for you or "getting lucky against his overpowered kit."

The only luck involved with Yasuo is not being crit to death when he only has Brawler's or Zeal. I can beat Yasuo, yes, but I'd need a diagram to explain what I mean with Ahri ult, and it takes far more focus and concentration to do it by having to keep track of his Q stacks, his W CD, his individual E CDs, his Flow, on top things that take up that focus like last hitting, wave management, map awareness, mana management. It takes too much effort to deal with him effectively and efficiently unless your JG camps him.

"not being crit to death" when you build like an adc, its kinda hard not to crit someone to death (especially with double crit chance)

"his flow" its a resource bar, you auto it. thats it

map awareness, and mana management isnt yasuo, thats you.

the only good reason you got here is wave management

Individually, of course none of those things are hard, but when you have to think about all of it at once, he's pretty hard to deal with while still playing well. I could shit stomp a Yasuo if I put 100% into dealing with him only, but my cs would suffer on top of having poor awareness due to it.

You failed to include how I mentioned "with only Brawler's Glove or Zeal". Even with his double crit it's only 20% and 40% respectively so it's totally possible to lose/win through bad/good RNG.

Considering how quickly he can build Q after he gets some AS, it's pretty vital to know what stack he's at, not just Q3.

Yes, and if you manage his Flow poorly, it could come back at the wrong time for you and he'll win a trade/all-in because of it.

I will say that the easiest way to learn how to beat yasuo is to play him for a bit. You can then learn when he is strong and when he is weak. The rest really does come down to patience and not tilting due to Yasuo's reputation. If you can't beat the average Yasuo the problem isn't the champ it's the way you play against him.

Viktor's enhanced AA can't be blocked either, since it's not a projectile. So just Q a minion for the shield and laugh as he tries to windwall your attack.

Well Dopa isn't wrong. I say it again: Lots of yasuo OTPs in diamond and one is/was third best challenger in EUW. (closed season as rank 6) So why don't u tell them how easy it is to beat yasuo? Because apparently they are all too stupid to learn how to play against him. Afaik you don't see any Garen, Singed, Nasus and other "weak" champs in challenger. I might be wrong here though.

The number of Riven mains in diamond+ across all regions equals almost twice as many as the Yasuo mains. Does that make Riven op or nearly impossible to beat? The biggest thing is that after a number of streamers/YouTubers brought Yasuo into the hatelight when he was building the almost full tank frozen force and had the aa during ult glitch. Yasuo is no more overpowered than any of the other "Slayers" he's just the face that people have decided to hate.
