Did you stand in the gunpowder? I've been playing him a lot and people tend to do that.
people don't read patch notes or pay attention to pbe so they stand in his Q and also hugely underestimate his burst damage in melee range when all the bullets hit...but he sure is more "shotgunny" now..i really like the rework.
I think the knockback from his shotgun might be a bit much, but I'll just wait for the next few patches to see what Riot does with him.
