The Death Recap System

I'm fairly certain most board users are aware of the awful state of the death recap. It's long standing meme of how buggy and useless it is. Riot has made an official statement on this, saying that they would have to rebuild the system, and that this would drain resources elsewhere at Riot.

I have two problems with this. Firstly this statement is 9 months old. In this time we've seen the five ban system, the new client, the practice tool, ingame recordings, and like 14 champions be released in this time. So that Riot's response 9 months ago was, "cant too busy" but they had enough time to get rid of a perfectly good client in favor of a bugged, and less structurally sensical one, you end up asking yourself "what the fuck is wrong with the death recap?" What's the Moby Dick left for this half functional piece of shit death recap system?

And this brings me to my second point, a death recap system seems almost TOO easy to program. For god's sake the game has already calculated the damage, the number shows up right under your champion. So what's stopping them from going, "ok yea take that 1000 damage draven axe calculation and add in this box at the top of the screen. The font? Who gives a shit make it comic sans." Compared to programming and adding a new champion, adding a text box giving you the numbers of how Ashe arrow does in fact stun you for a year seems rather elementary.

And I believe I know why Riot refuses to update the death recap system. It's a reason so sinister that I myself barely believed it after much meditation. But it is the only possible explanation for implementing a change that should take less than an hour. Because a fully functioning death recap system would in fact reveal that every champion is... Draven. It makes perfect sense, if the death recap worked, then it would reveal the years of Riot pulling the wool over our eyes. Riot has intentionally broken the recap system so that they may carry out their plot of world Dravention. Please spread the word, I and most likely all my loved ones are already in danger of being danger of being perma banned for playing too many games of Draven.
