It´s not that kinda simple tho, not that i can explain without spoiling a ton.

But suffice to say that the kid is a lot older than he seems, has superior holy knight training from one of the greatest ones to ever live and stating that he born with super powers isn't wrong either.

So even a holy knight on steroids isn't anywhere near enough naturally x)

Get into the manga. No matter how long the anime is it will end before it catches up with the manga. Also, the manga doesn't have seasons, they keep releasing chapters.

I would use MangaTown if I were you. Quality free manga website that doesn't throw ads in your face. The manga goes by "Nanatsu no Taizai", it's Japanese, but the manga will obviously be translated on the site.
