If you can play Azir ADC well, then pick him. My issue is that he's so mechanically mechanically difficult that I don't want people who aren't experienced picking him just to fill an AP hole when there are options that are easier to play.

I played a mean adc/hybriccarry azir before his soldiers were nerfed to no longer apply on attack effects. Using soldiers to stack up on guinsoo's was great. Add in BotRK and another on hit item, and you just melted anyone that got close
