sometimes I passive aggresively refuse to surrender in games that even I admit to myself seem completely hopeless. My "explanation" would be that I feel the members of my team don't deserve a humane ending to a string of selfish play/non-cooperation/refusal to prioritize objectives/repeat patterns of incorrigable poor play. They made their bed of failure, now they should have to lay in it to learn to associate feeding with long and awful games so that they stop feeding, instead of getting the instant gratification of a fresh start. It is my fucked up way of passive aggresively punishing bad behavior.

I never vote yes unless I'm a part of the problem. If somebody plays Vayne, goes 0/10/1 and decides to spam surrender votes because THEY lost their lane and don't wanna play anymore, I really don't care.
I always make hard feeders and demotivational players play to the end - maybe someday, they will then think twice before throwing their games because "we can just surrender and go into a new game ez"
support manages to say no despite being afk
and conveniently afks because if he fed too the boards will be angry at comparing the oh so great supports with these lowly plebian other-roles and downvote
I was in a similar situation where everyone was doing bad. I asked why they didn't want to ff and one of them replied "because more ip"
Its actually funny, I was in almost this exact same situation (I was Top Kayle and had taken at least 1 turret). The enemy team took our last inhib and one of our Nexus turrets, then started dicking around messing with us. Our Mid laner was sitting in Fountain (basically AFK) flaming us and our ADC and Support was trying to hold off minions while the enemy ran around not killing our Nexus.
So I spawn in, my ADC dies (jungle died protecting inhib btw), and the enemy starts to come at me, at this point I am late game Kayle though with full build. So I immediately melt 2 of them, the other 3 suddenly realize I am a threat and 3v2 me and the support, well like I said I am late game Kayle and I melt them all instantly netting myself a Penta. I had actually died pushing top and they never stopped the push after killing me, so luckily our minions were still far enough down the lane that I could TP to them, take the 2 turrets and inhib, then press on towards the nexus for the win.
We had been trying to surrender since the 20 minute mark lol
I have won a lot of those games. Don't give up
And the enemy team is standing in your base laughing at your feeble attempts to clear the super minions.
