file explorer isn't that great either, or windows for that matter. almost nothing works as "intended" on windows 10

Not to mention being forced to pay a subscription for microsoft word and also the default method to open pdfs being through microsoft edge via epdf. Can anyone defend microsoft lol?

I can say they're going in the right direction...they're just not testing things properly somehow

with a faster update schedule and integrated security features, it should be becoming harder for the average hacker to get in, but I withhold praise until they fix this nonsense XD

as for microsoft word, find something open source...not the best for using for a school paper essay, but there are Word-like writer programs out there for free. I've tried Libre Office myself as it's what Linux uses but as I said, it's complicated

also, it's annoying but you can change what default program handles pdf by changing settings or opening the file in chrome or another browser

Yep. Nonetheless, it's just a lot of work to get what every computer already had.
