sounds like some weird ass overflow. Usually that happens with very very large numbers when some bits get scrabled up, so it makes me think that is more the case of a very high number rendered negative than else xD

or some number flipped a subtraction and screwed up the bits, too.

hhhm, then it is possible that a very low number got his singed bit swapped for some reasons

basically, in binary 1000 means 8, but in some sistems the first bit is used to indicate a sign, where is + if it is 0 and - if it is 1. In that case 1000 represents the lowest negative number possible ( or in other words the highest number in module ), in this case -8 while 0000 obviously means 0.

So maybe shen did so few damage that when the error happened his low positive number got converted into an abissally low negative number xD
