My experience as a Support main
I generally try to be a patient person and the moral support for my team, I aim to please, and sometimes this is probably what it looks like.

Ha man I know that feeling especially in ranked, really feels like I can't effect the result. I just try my best to stop the tilt. "Hey we are silver they can still throw guys, don't give up"
I had an Ezreal last night (in a normal!) that I swear was a being of pure rage. I don't know how people can live and be so angry all the time.
I am learning to play
and he is ranged so
doesn't excute and just because I'd miss the kill on the minions sometimes, it just tilted him off the planet (he still had more farm than his opponent). I took his advice and left the lane (obtaining kills elsewhere) but it was already too late for him, it is kind of hard to play with someone who hates you.
Ice runs through the viens of support mains.
Oh I have been doing plenty of that, I am actually very good at it.
The issue is when you and your random ADC have no synergy. For example I am a naturally safe player, I almost always plan some kind of escape or disengage from a fight, but about half my adcs... are agressive risk taking players. If I back off or don't go in at the right times I can severly tilt them... Or worse I hesitate, then join in thier madness getting us both killed instead of just letting them die (I have less issue letting people die when I am not support).
There is also jungle synergy or warding help that I stuffed up early last season that landed me in silver. I am quite the obessive warder but I kept getting caught warding, now I really need adc or jungle help to get some of the warding I need done safely. If they just don't get it then we are left without the wards.
are you talking about playing league with bronze fucks in ranked?
I recently learnt to play Ez after years of just thinking he was a terrible champion where all I did was run away really well and never do any damage. But in grinding to mastery 5 with him I finally get it. He has strong burst damage, you really have to time your engage well then just fire off a flurry of spells and autos then either get the kill or hop back out of the fight and try agian later.
It is important to learn adcs as well as supports actually, then you can understand the champion you are suppose to be supporting.
It is the Vayne players that, almost, tilt me with thier very existance. Unlike Ez and Lucian players they do actually need the heals and peels. At some point in the game they are sure to tumble into the middle of the enemy team trying to outplay 2 v 5 and you are expected to keep them alive in that madness. They all think they are Korean.
There needs to be an ADC screaming obscenities while on fire too but otherwise perfect.
best of luck landing decent adcs.
For me it's often more like:
Ok, you could have done that. And, this guy could have done that. And, oh, he could have done this. Time for me to place my ward. Ok, he could have done that. Why didn't he do this? Time to hit my heal button. He could have done that....

I main support to but as much as I don't want to admit it, I'm usually more toxic than my ADC. I mean, how can you blame me for your death when you flashed into a Sona ultimate?
Well you guys would have no problem with supports if u play pure ap,ad or tanky support instead of going with those boring regular support items.
That's way too true to be a meme.........
same
i left for vacation for 3 days. when i left, this was a meme post. now:

I agree with you. I am also a very safe player, I'll go in when the ADC "somewhat" engages or when jungle pings. But if they're willing to just go in as I'm about out of mana, I will stay back. I'll spam my buttons but the abilities will not perform and the ADC will probably cuss at me, which I won't care because it wasn't my fault. That's when the ADC is hella boosted asf and will probably keep dying because he's mad. As for the jungle, I also do wish that the jungler and ADC help with warding. Sometimes, only half of the map (bottom side of the map) is only warded and top + everywhere else is just dark as hell. Tbh, kind of hate it when people ping for you to put down a ward but they have one too....
SUPPOSE TO BE A MEME POST NO??? (im not judging people posting these paragraphs but seriously, stop posting college essays here)
edit: those are not the same post, i just didnt bother to make 2 seperate quote box
I usually just give up and start trolling and somehow my berserk antics causes the game to turn around. Seems to work for me in other games too where shit goes so far south normal strategy doesn't work either.
Then again my name is very baity. A split pushing support with a name like mine draws a lot of attention. Too bad my team thinks I should stick with them... Which Im often forced to or they get completely wiped in a 4v4 without killing a single guy without me present.
