When you see a Nasus run away from the enemy team

I imagine if he has 500 stacks he'd be running away for a reason.
I have the whole enemy team up here.
Do something useful elsewhere to make them go away so I can resume stacking.
One game I had 700 stacks at 30 minutes and we lost. The top laner mocked me, saying "If I had 700 stacks I would have won."
Well, the other team had a lot of cc. If you are Nasus and the other team has a tank properly positioned in front of their adc, and you try to run at their adc, you cannot get in range to wither the adc. Sure, you can bop the enemy tank, but he has a lot of armor and health so killing him would take awhile. Meanwhile, the enemy carries can still destroy you quite quickly.
Nasus is weak at late-game teamfights. Nasus mains are pretty unanimous that Nasus is actually a mid-game champion with weak teamfights. Even if Nasus is fed, if his team is weak, teamfights are not going to go in his favor. So this game I had to relentlessly splitpush. I got top and bot inhibitors, but my team wasn't able to take advantage of that.
Nothing could be more wrong than saying that because Nasus has 500 stacks he should be able to 1v5. 500 stacks isn't even that much, unless you are talking about the 20 minute mark, in which he could clean up 5 opponents (who have blown their cc and main damage spells and so can't focus him down -- because at 20 minutes you still don't have that much in resistances and can still be easily kited).
I had a game in which I was Nasus with 1k stacks. It literally took all 5 of the enemies to kill me and even that took them a while. So let's play a little game. While I'm dealing with all 5 enemies for a good 30 seconds to a minute what do you think my allies where doing?
