He's a totally different fucking champion now LOL. Rengar rework, he was practically still Rengar. Galio was still Galio with a bit more CC Kat was practically still Kat with more mobility.
This motherfucker is just unrecognizable, I shall make good use of him, in the top lane (jungle experimental).

Disagree. Urgot still locks on to you, still has a shield, still has the fear, still has a "GET OVER HERE" ultimate, and still has a similar build path. Also, Urgot looks A LOT more like Urgot than Galio does Galio.

which of those aspects you mentioned would you say defined old galio? because i would say it was his strength against magic damage, which they kept, and his AOE taunt, which they kept. other than that they took 2 of the most boring and generic poke abilities in the game and combined them into one much more interesting poke ability and took a generic shield ability and combined it with his old ult.
AlienPrimate2 votesThe defining point which made me love him and chose him as my main pick for middle lane was his ability to heal while being a tank. The only other tanks who can heal are Gragas, Cho, and Maokai and all their heals are not nearly as powerful as Galio's was. Galio's W healed him for nearly 800 every time he used it at full build the way I built him with spirit visage and windspeaker's blessing.
Just watch this from the time that I linked for a few minutes and you will see what I mean. There are no other tanks who can do that which is what made Galio unique. There are tanks who can reduce incoming damage, cc, dash, teleport to a teammate, have damage scaling from resists, and taunt enemies. There are no tanks who can heal themselves to this extent.

Really good at removing two champions from the game, and replacing one of them with an even more cancerous champion.
