a few things: One: Garen spoiled? He was taken at a very young age to go through a rigorous military training program. That is hardly an easy life.

Two: Demacia is a manifestation of Justice itself, and thus everything that goes against Demacia is inherently unjust.

Three: There is no reason to be a thief. Remain loyal to the crown and you are taken care of in Demacia. It is the Noxus that is filled with starving people.

Four: Riven doesn't kill people for stealing bread, she would just hang out at a food kitchen killing any women and children who were asking for free bread. She is topped only by Singed in the slaughter of innocent people department.

Garen is a fool that protects a tyrannical government that just enslaves their people without actually enslaving them, in Demacia you are told what to do in life and you're expect to do it, much like the Qun from Dragon Age step out of line and die. No noble human being would ever protect such a twisted and disgusting Government, J4 is actually the most noble Demacian there is without him Shyvana and Quinn would not be where they are. So much is wrong with what you have said.

First, Garen has found ways to protect justice even if other Demacians disagree. For example, he spared Taric by giving him a sentence that was effectively exile. Very few people actually tried to climb the mountain, mostly preferring to just find a life elsewhere. After all, Taric didn't want to be a military man, and Garen found a way to set him free while simultaneously satisfying the rulers. That hardly sounds like a fool to me.

Second: Have you seen the people of RuneTerra? There are some seriously messed up ideas and magical abilities running rampant. A single screwed up guy could end a nation. Before their societies are ready for freedom, they must learn morality.

Third: And J4 would not even be alive had it not been for Garen. Garen saved him from Urgot.

Fourth: And yet you defend RIven, who was so stubborn at thinking she was right (even while mowing down innocent and unarmed people) that it took her own people trying to kill her to make her stop the bloodshed.

First Garen has never done anything for anyone other then a Demacian, he only protected Katarina because the prince said she was allowed in the city.

Second: Demacia is a land full of Tyrants and Hippocrates making them no better then Noxus.

Third while that may be true Garen disregarded Quinn when she was completely right about the assassin trying to kill the prince, he believed he was right in the way on how to track down the assassin when he was dead wrong.

Fourth: It's more then that but you're to much of a stubborn asshole to see it. Much like Garen.

2: Being a hypocrite, while not great, is not nearly as bad as the mass slaughter of innocent and unarmed people. Demacia isn't even close to as violent and ruthless as Noxus.

3: Garen disregarding Quinn was not an unjust or dishonorable action, he was just wrong. He is only human. And yes, J4 is better at making decisions. He is a prince after all, that is kind of what he does.

4: I would say you were like Riven, but that would be too insulting. I don't see you as the type to mow down children.

We're talking about Garen and Demcia not Riven don't try and change the subject because the argument isn't going in your favor.

At least in Noxus you have the freedom of choice, in Demacia you are nothing more then a glorified slave, unless of coarse you are born a noble then your mistakes are conveniently swept under the rug.

And Garen is commander of what is essential the Demacian special forces HE should be able to make a change of tactics on a moments notices, a good leader would hear out his subordinates idea's not disregard them because he's to prideful to admit he's wrong. Or maybe it's because Quinn was of low birth so like any noble he simple ignored her because of that, some leader he is.

In Noxus you only have freedom is you are stronger than the person who is repressing you. If someone could beat you to death, they can do anything they want to you. And Demacian laws apply to the royal class as well, as proven by Fiora's lore. Her family was powerful and wealthy, but that wasn't going to save them.

And again, you are confusing a mistake and immorality. He thought Quinn was wrong, but it turned out he was wrong. This was not a moral issue, this was a mistake. Garen is a great man, but he is not a god. He doesn't know everything. And Garen has been right before as well, such as when he led the special forces strike that saved J4. Even the smartest generals get it wrong sometimes.

So you say J4 has good judgement and is a good leader, but his must trusted friend (who has saved his life on multiple occasions) is a bad guy? That doesn't make sense. And the other royals would have executed Taric, but Garen recognized that Taric was a very good man, and found a way to spare him. Hell, even Quinn stated that Garen has earned the utter devotion of his men. She also stated that he has a righteous intent. (she even said this after he did not believe her. She did not see him as morally wrong for disbelieving her).

Garen had no way of knowing that Quinn was right, and made a mistake by guessing she was wrong. That does not any any way, shape, or form, make him morally lesser.

Well, everyone in lore who has met the man (except Urgot) has respected him immensely, and he inspires awe and loyalty in all who serve around him. Even those who have been at odds with him (Taric, Quinn) still hold to that he is a good man. Him being wrong about Quinn once hardly makes him an asshole.

Oh please, I'm sure Garen has done so highly unquestionable things. Everyone does, no one is pure and no one is truly righteous. It defies human nature, we all want something bad enough and we do not care who or what gets in the way of us getting it. Why do you think Tahm Kench is so fat? He feeds off the misery of the bargains gone awry, he even offers to give Garen what he desires, Katarina. Garen's weakness is lust, a deadly sin. Look at the cinematic "A twist of Fate". Garen, despite his own desires, was willing to kill Katarina. Garen is as loyal to Demacia as TR-8R is to the First Order.
