Getting a Pentakill and not even noticing the announcer saying double, triple, or even quadra then suddenly hearing PENTAKILL with your face as the obtain-er is kinda cool! Though it hapend to me in a bot game just chilling and just having fun as

In an actual match though... I'd say either is good! If your say the support and get a low/0/absurd-kill-participation, then well damn! You are one awesome support player! If you get a Penta and earned it (not just last hit each one) dealing tons of damage, well played. But then go thank your team for helping you get that Penta if they were around to help you get it.
The context of which is better though? No preference here honestly. Should of had a 3rd or 4th options for the poll. That's just me though. I'd be happy getting either though in any normal game. If only if only...
Riven pentakills are essentially meaningless soooo.

Depends Did you get a pentakill by carrying the team and doing the most CC and damage, or did you simply last hit everyone? That is what distinguishes a good pentakill from a worthless one.

The goal is victory. Victory almost always comes with gold advantage. The best way to not give the enemies gold is to not let them kill you.

I'd say no deaths. I mean I already got a pentakill with AP 
(Solo, mind you) And yet...
No 0 death games. I WANT ONE ALREADY!
No deaths means, your either doing something right...or all you did was afk farm all game and so the enemy team just waltzed into your lane and gave you 8 kills.
Besides..riven and co can get penta kills even if they went 6/31 usually because of either how easy they are to play, or because they have godlike late game scaling...(Im looking at you too 
players...)
Pentas can also happen by chance/accident as well..i remember all of a sudden hearing "PentaKill!!!" and going "Awww yessss i helped one of my team mates get a penta ayyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!......" and then looking up to see my 
icon where my adc's 
icon should be over the pentakill title......i threw myself into the barron pit and suicided to try to repent for my sins.
Well as i couldn't actually understand the Champion Mastery thingy anyways-

well in the end i got an B for some reason what ever - Gnar this game got an B+ only-
The system works like: ''roll the dices'' or something i dunno xD
No deaths mean no shutdown gold. And when you shutdown someone you get a lot of gold, meaning your opponents couldnt rush any item, at least not if they wanted to kill you.
I've had 3 penta kills (none in ranked) and several dozen perfect games (some in ranked). Pretty clear to me which one is more impressive ;)
