What about when you offer blue buff and the mid ignores you, so you're like fuck it i don't got time to waste. Then 2 minutes later they go can i have blue.

lol..yeh...though it's never like 'Can i have next blue please?' It's more like they die because they towerdived enemy mid and go- 'FKin useless jungler never gank or give buffs FF@20 GG' like 40 seconds after you were pinging your mid and pinging blue and typing '(mid) blue?' like 4 times in chat.

Yeah, it was a couple of seasons ago when blue still gave 20% cooldown, but still Kat doesn't need it that bad, especially over an amumu.

Whats worse is when you play a mana heavy jungler and NEED blue, but mid runs over and steals it without asking, like its meant for them.

Fun fact, riot actually said in previous patch notes buffs werent meant for everyone, and giving them up as a jungler is meant to be a hard call.

following the new buff drop on the rift herald, i think would be great if they implemented this system on the red/blue buff (just like the moba smite does), the bad part is that you wouldnt be able to kill the monster from a distance and get the buff

"At a distance" could imply that the mid laner would have to walk around to the other side of the wall to get the buff. Just pointing out that it's not only ally buff transfers that would be made harder.

would be nice, would stop those irritating zed midlaners trying to steal the blue buff from say, a fiddlesticks. why do you need it zed, you use energy, its literally 1 step up form having no ability costs at all, oh you want CD? buy a fcking item 3071

im aware, but energy already regens at 10 per second, which is a hell of a lot when you only have 200 energy to work with all game. that means that energy champs only need to stay out of combat for a total of 20 wseconds to FULLY regen energy, and most wont ever go below 100 energy anyways, meaning that you never have to concern yourself with regen.

I understand you point about mana intensive junglers needing it more, i know because i jungle a lot, but there are times that having blue on the energy champs is really damn useful. Granted i usually weigh it on how good the mid is, my mana usage on my jungler, and the potential benefits of giving it to the support if there is an energy champ mid.

energy regen can sometimes be horrible, blue buff increases the energy regen and gives the cd with is nice

Well they did shift the experience over towards the smaller monsters at each champ so it wouldn't be as bad to give it away. So it seems they're still trying to accommodate that donation.

To be fair, there have been times I've given the support blue buff because mid already has one (or doesn't need it) and I and others on my team don't need it.

Especially if they're playing Sona. Mmm, nothing like a happy Sona spamming auras in a teamfight.

She's been hit by the nerf bat more times than there are Lee Sin and Zed montages on Youtube.

But, god, seriously, Her laning power is so-so (Blitz and Leona say hello) but her late-game power is so... amazing.

Between you and me, whenever I jungle I find any excuse to give the support Sona that blue buff. People really, really, really underestimate the teamfighting power she brings. Sure, it's useful on mana mages or caster ADC's, but when we're all buffed to hell constantly because Sona is making music, the power can make a bigger difference than an extra spell rotation.

Have to agree on that, but it's rough on Sona to get to that point (all I seem to see is the Blitz/Leona/Hard Engage/Pick champions), but once you do, with that blue bluff, it's just almost like feeding an addiction.

See, I'm weird. I very often offer blue to mid if they're destroying or ask for it. But I NEVER take blue as mid until the laning phase is over. If the enemy has blue, I'll just take it off of them.

I am on the same page as you, as a jungler i will often donate my blue buff to mid especially if they aren't a dick, but when i go mid i rarely take it and usually the only time i have had a jungler offer me blue buff is when i am playing a champion that doesn't really need it and i am already doing good.

I never ask for blue buff. Because I like to manage without having it in lane. I dunno. I think it would benefit a jungler more for quicker cooldowns and resource regen.

When I jungle, I give them 2 pings when I start it and 2 when its near dead. If they don't react during that time saying they are coming. I take it. If they rage I mute them.

Sometimes even when I don't need it, I don't got all day to sit there. My motto is there is an expiration date on buffs, if they don't make it in time, too bad.

Props if the ADC takes my red when they are losing lane and I can actually be useful, I love that one the most.

Omg i hate when the ADC, or anybody really, takes my jungle. Especially if i am behind, like i get way more benefit from these camps then you and i need to recover from trying to help your ungrateful ass. If you ask and its at the point that it isn't necessary for me to take it, then that's fine. Unless its raptors or gromp, those buffs are too useful to waste.

Actually for whatever reason I really hate going to get blue buff. I almost always tell my jungler to just take it. It's okay, I tend to get one once I kill the enemy laner.

I mean, in all fairness (and speaking from a jungler's perspective), there are so few junglers that really need blue buff, and so many mid-laners that do need it (basically any high-frequency caster, or in very rare cases in which he's played, Yorick top), I'll of course take the first one and any they don't clearly need...But I'll usually hand it off to someone else, should they be in the area at the time.

Being also a Fill-Main, I play Karthus often enough that I will very politely ask for it. Because I'm freaking Karthus. Until you get either a stacked Tear and/or RoA, you're kinda gonna be starved, even with Masteries set up to regen you. Orianna, Lux, Azir, and Xerath also quickly come to mind as people who just need it more than I do.

I mean, maybe it's the people I pick. I play a ton of MasterYi , , Skarner , Khazix , Rammus , and Nocturne , and they really don't need much mana past that first clear, even without the refillable potion. With the exception of Vi, who could use it a few times before she's less mana-reliant for both clears and ganks, I rarely find myself starved for mana. Not that it doesn't happen, but the mid-laner can typically use it way more than I can.

I've never had that situation, most of the time they're so involved in their lane, grabbing the cs, they apparently forget about the map.
