Why can't we be the ones that have the Annie picking into a Yasuo, and not the other way around? We always get the first-pick Yasuo, who then proceeds to get completely obliterated by an Annie, or a Viktor, or someone else who ends up obliterating him.

Everyone complains about Yasuo being oh-no-overpowered, but it's never when they're on your own team. I refer to this personally as the Yasuo Effect: When any difficult-to-play hypercarry, e.g. Yasuo or Vayne, is chosen on your team, they will feed like you've never seen before, to the point where you'll wish they rage-quit for your sakes. But if they're on the enemy team, they are God Himself, and will be like 15/0 by the 20 minute marker.

Everyone knows this paradox is somehow a fact, and that it only happens in Ranked.

I just got out of a match where a Yasuo destroyed an Annie in lane, It doesn't always work as advertised. Have also seen a Yasuo beat a Malzahar who is supposed to be another lopsided match up for him.
