I hate that ship, it makes no sense. Some ships I get. Not that one. Its lesbian which is rare enough, not to mention they both hate eachother for worshipping their enemies. its like a christian woman and a satanist woman hooking up, it makes no sense.

I know that an official Rioter once stated that they were friends before the whole "burn the heretic" thing happened, so some people see it as a sort of Romeo and Juliet situation, I guess. Plus, there's the fact that its a lesbian pairing, and most of the League fanbase is... into that to the point where they'll jump on any female-female relationship that could possibly be seen as a hidden lesbian tyrst.

Secretly, I can see all three of them.

Not sure if Taric and Lux would get along, but I can totally see Ezreal getting with both of them. At least in the early stages, when dating multiple people is okay (depending on your culture, of course).

Leona jokes and the fact that Diana left her entire culture even if it meant living alone to worship what she thought was the true god, not to mention they both kill anyone who doesn't worship the sun/moon or worships their enemy deity.

Well I guess Leona's lore does set her more as a defensive person(though AP Leona would like to disagree), but Diana slaughtered all the elders. Granted she was about to be killed but it does show she'll kill, and the last quote "Diana resolved to destroy all those who would deny the power of the moon," and the fact she joined the League of Legends without meaning to be protection like Leona is, it shows she will murder anyone who won't worship the moon.

To be honest, I noticed that a lot (which is shocking cause I'm use to seeing all the yaoi pairings)

but so far, the only same sex pairings I see that made sense lorewise or situational is Caitlyn x and Leona x Diana

Even then, I see them the first two having a typical buddy cop deal going on where they got so use to each other, they can make certain jokes others wouldn't be allowed. Which is why Vi can get away with calling Cait "Cupcake".

With L x D, I honestly think it's more like you mentioned with the Romeo & Juliet thing. Even then, I'm pretty sure Leona is more likely to give Diana a stern talking to then a full frenching on the lips.

The thing is about Leona and Diana (Leona specifically) Is that they are bred warriors. (Leona more so than Diana, because you have to remember, Diana was a Solari, and while they are still Rakkor, they do not follow the same traditions.)

Leona was bred to fight from the moment she could hold a blade, all her life she was taught the ways of combat. I highly doubt there was any teachings telling her she should be attracted to men. Personally I'd see Leona as much more than simply a friendly attraction to Diana (Not only due to their friendship but due to their celestial relationship). But in the end, that's just my personal theory :p

Not in the celebrity spotlight or a strip club. But I dare you to go out on the streets of your hometown, go to every house, and tell me exactly how many are lesbian. I doubt 1/10 of them will be even gay, let alone lesbian specifically.
