You know what a good representation of Ranked is?
The first 10 minutes of Episode 1 of Goblin Slayer.
Everyone's hyped, everyone's confident and makes you feel good that this team knows what they're doing.
Then it all just goes to shit.
The goblins (enemy team) have been overly underestimated, and you are now proven how useless and unskilled you are in their presence. You were holding your own decently for the first minute of the game then boom, you've fucked up so heavily they've killed you. Your team comes to help and they too think they're hot shit and lo and behold, they've fucked up and now everyone's dying and feeding.
And now you're sitting there like the priest, wondering

- What the fuck just happened
- Why the fuck did I click accept.
