No wonder you hate Star Guardian Poppy. Who is in fact, the most armored out of the Star Guardians.

I don't hate it merely on the account that I'm not an Otaku. It's just a few things about it that I don't like.

Most important reason! Steel Legion Poppy now has to wait.
Poppy has an amazing, in-depth character. She has a lot of background, has gone through quite a lot, and is, overall, just a very admirable yordle. Now, when you slap Star Guardian on her, that's almost giving her the cardboard personality that 90% of anime girls seem to share.

The one so prevalent in so many female anime characters to the point that seeing one immediately makes you assume that they love cute things, aren't hardly brave, live for boys, and so on. Pretty much all of Kirito's female followers in SAO

Now, not all anime has wooden people populating it (Angel Beats had some pretty good character arc in it), I just don't have the time nor means necessary to sift through all anime to find the ones I like.

Now this is fair and you're right, 2 isn't important (I had a similar feeling to Mecha Sion). But SG Poppy isn't described like as you have said. Have you looked at her bio or just looked st the picture?

Hell her favorite hobby is literally training.

Yes, I've glumly skimmed that whole Star Guardian thing, dreaming of the day when Steel Legion Poppy hits. Clearly her personality isn't trashed by Riot, unfortunately, it's trashed by the players who say "Forget that she's referred to as the soldier of the team, she's nothing but a teddy bear to me."

It has a lot to do with visual effect and that nobody reads the lore. Despite attending to numerous objectives, getting a very positive KDA, and whole-heartedly participating as both defender and damage force in almost every teamfight, Poppy's still not considered to be anything more than a "cute little girl".

I was playing on a smurf recently and I got a guy who was toxic non stop all game (and this was an ARAM.) Reported him at the end of the game and queued up again. Got the same toxic player in the next game on my team. Yet again I reported him when the game ended. The third game he wound up on the enemy team and I made his life a living hell (he was Sivir, I was Master Yi.) That third game made the other two worth it.

mine was a ranked game. he was top gnar; we easily had the game won and then he afked the last 12 min making the game unwinnable. needless to say i was tilted so i took i little 8 min break. came back and Qed up again to find him on the enemy team playing poppy top. I ganked him so many times even though i didn't need to since my top lane was already destroying him after my first gank. i was merciless that game going 19/2/14. it felt so good lol
